The Ice Sea

Before one can enter the territories of snow, one must first cross the Ice Sea. This half a day journey over a foot of frozen ice is only possible during the late fall and winter, for only then is the bridge solid- otherwise, it looks just like this. Impossible to swim. However, int he late fall and winter, this is so sturdy that many polar bears are born onto it.
